Couriers and Delivery Services

Our three facilities in Plattsburgh NY, Lebanon NH and Williston VT are equipped to service the entire greater Northeast, and we understand that some of our clientele have to travel long distances in order to hand-deliver their samples within EPA hold time. To help with this, there are several alternative ways of delivering samples to our labs.

The condition of your samples upon delivery is very important. Please visit our Transporting Samples page to learn more about what needs to be done to have reliable and accurate data.

Courier Services

Scheduled Courier routes: Scheduled routes are designed with pre-established pick up locations on certain days of the week. Drop off and pick up at these locations is free of charge. See the map below for specific locations and call the laboratory nearest you for more information about how to have your sample picked up.

Custom Courier routes: Endyne runs custom courier routes which pick up (and can collect some samples as needed) at your facility. See the map below for general coverage areas and call your local lab for pricing and availability, based on location and needs.

New Hampshire Courier Route: Pickup available on the first and third Thursdays of the month. Call the Lebanon lab 24 hours in advance to schedule a pickup. Upcoming dates are:

  • January 4th & 18th
  • February 1st & 15th
  • March 7th & 21st
  • April 4th & 18th
  • May 2nd & 16th
  • June 6th & 20th

Third Party Professional: Endyne also acts as a third party professional, sampling for mortgages, refinance or permit renewals when a third party is required. Pricing for this service is based on time and miles, including travel from the lab, collecting your sample and back to the lab.

We may also be able to arrange pickup and drop off with Endyne staff, depending on your location. Call the laboratory in your area for more information.

Sample Delivery

Standard Delivery services are economical, but can take more than one day to reach the laboratory. Besides hold time problems, it is extremely difficult to keep samples cold, or prevent them from freezing in the winter, for more than 24 hours in shipment.

  • USPS: Although very convenient, USPS can take 2 or more days to deliver a package. Check with your Post Master about expected delivery time. Priority Mail can be expensive and still is not guaranteed to deliver the next day.
  • UPS: UPS ground delivery almost always delivers the next day if you are within a three hour drive of the laboratory. However that can be delayed, without warning, around the holidays. Next Day delivery is very reliable but also expensive.

Same-Day Delivery services are more expensive than Standard Delivery shipments but often less expensive than next day air delivery. Check if there’s a route available in your area.
